What is the normal life of your headlamp bulbs on TD5's iam lucky if i get 2 months from a bulb. Its not that.There no cheap and an absolute nightmare to change when you have lampguards on and a A bar. Does anyone else have or came accross this problem...

Never had to change mine in 5 years/70 000 miles. You are being careful not to touch the bulb with your hand when you fit it? Skin contact shortens their life. I do get through a lot of rear light bulbs though.
 
120,000 miles (and 6 years) from new. I have replaced a couple of rear light bulbs and a couple of dashboard bulbs, but headlight bulbs are still original...
 
I'm on my 4th set, 2 blown, 1 set of upgrades, and now on Phillips Extreme, which seem to be lasting better (and loads better light output over standard)

I too have A bar and spots, and yep, it's a right sod to do, takes me about an hour !!!
 
yer can get em fer a quid each in asda, they come in a little bulb pack with a few others in as well ;)
 
I'll stick to me aceterleene one's . . . when me next batch of carbide turns up in the post

Ope it won't be raining, cos pat will get a surprise !!!
