I recently purchased some plastic headlamp bowls with all the fittings, but cant work out how the fook it all goes on! Theres no instructions and all the exploded diagrams are for the old type metal bowls which I just took off, it has all the bits and peices and the rubber bungs but I have NO idea at all!

Fleabay special? did you save any money?
 
er, the old bowls come out (6 nuts and bolts each) and the new bowls go in - just make sure the orientation's right so the adjuster screw works. Three screws hold the retaining ring which holds the lamp unit into the inner bowl - the lamp unit is keyed so it only fits properly one way. I didn't find this particularly difficult once I'd got the old rusty nuts and bolts out.
 
Don't remember any rubber bungs - unless they're grommets for the wiring. I think we need pictures......
 
Too late its all wired in. Rubber bungs went in the big holes and the adjuster screw went into the rubber bung which pushed against it, hence pushing the light sideways or up/down
