Ok..
Never really tried my HDC before but it was working fine EG: Press HCD and select First or Reverse and Lights illuminated ok...

But Now when I switch on Ignition I am getting an exclamation ! mark beside the Orange Light of the downward facing dash light

Mine is the one with the HDC on the Gear Lever....................

usually down to cables come off the switch or broken inside the gaiter.

Yep..
Found the 2 wires Black and Blue,.Both broken of from Switch...
Have to try my Soldering skills ...

Thanks for the reply..Hope this cures the Exclamation Mark on the dash..

Wouldn't bother with soldering. Depending on how worried about appearances you are, I simply extend the wires using a terminal block to a new push button switch hanging out of the gaiter. Not elegant, but practical!

Yep...
Thought about that..was gonna wire up a switch and put it in the blank on the center console oposite the rear window switch..
