Granted, it's not beautiful and it's not a Land Rover but the wheels and 'dumper' tyres hint that it's been built for some sort of serious offroading activity - swamp wading or something, maybe? Those huge wheelarches make me think it might have been used with bigger wheels and tyres in the past.
