There are head units that claim compatibility with wheel buttons on all makesIf you don't have controls on the steering wheel (or can live without them) its a good excuse to get a modern integrated head unit with dedicated subwoofer output. Means you can upgrade with bluetooth, DAB, MP3 controls etc. Then just bypass all the old amps. You can probably still use the speakers.

Just seen them advertised here in France, can't see why they wouldn't work, may have to chop the loom.Are there? Any that have actually been tried on a P38? I'd be interested, I always thought you had to use the work-around and do lots of chopping and splicing.
