Pay for it...people put a lot of hard work into providing diagnostic software and hardware for the home user...don't throw it in their face by trying to get it for free...

.. Sorry but is a littel stupid to pay hundreds or thousands of euro for a diagnostic software.. Im not a dealer im just person thats want to maintain his car with low costs ... Its a Rangy.. and with so much electrical problem you have to be a milioner if you go to the dealer... ... Be practical and happy with your landy ... ... Sorry but most of the software are trail so i can use it limited or for some day... Is more logical that pay for a software that you ever know how much you will use or ho good is for your needs this software..

For some vehicle makes only dealer supplied diagnostics are available and these do cost thousands....Yep seriously
But for Land Rovers there are a few aftermarket solutions available designed, developed and marketed by individuals (not mega big huge multi-million PLCs) who have spent time, money and hard fecking graft to bring a low(er) cost home user diagnostic solution into the market place in order to do exactly what you are after.....
Hell, the legend that is Storey Wilson even developed a FREE Air Suspension diagnostic solution with the EASUnlockSuite - and he has a full time job in the healthcare industry and a young family to attend to, yet he still spent his precious free time developing a FREE solution to help us all out.
If the ONLY choice for our Land Rovers was to go cap in hand to Land Rover themselves and shell out thousands for a Testbook then I *may* just be able to advocate trying to get it buck-shee, BUT there are many other solutions out there that costs a mere fraction of the Testbook....a BBS Nanocom which is a hugely capable machine is £400 odd, and there are cheaper options like the Hawkeye and Lynx - although these are limited compared to the Nanocom.
Don't underestimate the time and hardwork that has gone into developing a home user diagnostic solution that costs £400 as they have provided this so you don't have to fork out £10k plus on a dealer Testbook or £120 per hour to take you car to Land Rover....they have done it to help us out, and if they make a few hard earned sheckles from it than I am more than happy to line their pockets.

Contact a firm called BBS, do a search. Ask for Colin, ask him about hacked software and tell him Keith and Ant recommended him to you.

It's not illegal to correct mileage. It's changing mileage from the correct mileage to a lower one that the bobbies don't like.
