Hmm then I guess the guy was right. I love salesmen like those who try to buy your confidence in the product not just one of those who are after a sale and later on leave you to cry. I shall look for a few more good remarks about Hids and maybe would buy one too, they are really bright, RAV hows HID going on with you, did you notice any difference in the quality of light at night.

:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughiHID = Hideously Inconsiderate to other DriversMaybe some of the posters could have been dead for three years. Crashed after being blinded by HID lamps more than likely.![]()
Don't see why HIDs should be too much of a problem in a P38 with its self-levelling suspension - as long as the beam heights are set correctly. I fitted a HID kit to mine last month - no probs - so far...
Lesson 1) How to make a bad situation worseThe problem is HID lamps in halogen headlamp housings
It's not just the self levelling that you need, you also require projector lenses as without the right lens makes the HID light scatter everywhere instead of straight ahead. And that's the bit that blinds other drivers.
I just stick my full beam Xenons in there face if theirs are in mine![]()
