why o why o why did who ever designed the defender, decide to have those gutters that run along the top of the landy on both sides end right above the front door hinges!so that when its raining, and the gutters do their thing, water flooooooooows out the end of the gutters and doooownnn onto the front bulkhead rust weak spots!alsoooooooo the drivers footwell gets filled with the wet stuff when ever the door is opened and its ****in down!
i thought of a way to stop this wood b to drill a couple small drainage holes in the gutters, but is there a better way?!

cheers in advance

ted

Fit a heated roof so the rain evaporates as it hits to stop it running down your gutters

all very very good ideas,

heated roof

brid bath

drainpipe

how bout th whole hog and have a heated birdbath!!
dunno where the drainipe could fit in though.......

Dunno if you've noticed but the window channel is designed to drain onto the window hinges and the channel on the bulkhead behind the bonnet is designed to drain just inside the wings and onto the footwell and on the drivers side onto the accelerator gubbins. All well thought out design characteristics.

yu cudnt b more rite!u gotta love th landys flaws!i walked past a car showroom yesterday, noticed i cud get 3 R reg audi's for the price i paid for my single landy a few months ago, but why wood i want to!ya dont get these quirks with anythin but a landy!

i was thinkin, it may b worth bungin' up the ends of the gutters,at the front, so the water swishes back and spills out the rear rather than on the hinges, me, the footwell, the accelerator and so on and so on....

I Used Sealant To Block The Channel Which Seems To Have Made A Huge Difference!!! Only Small Puddles Now!!!

By jove I've got it......Fit a 2" lift ont the front of yer trattor and the rain will all run off the back
