After going through the MOT last Friday our P38 came back with a couple of advisories - one of which was an intermittent fault on the left-hand rear ABS sensor. We have the ABS and TCS light on all the time an then the guy tested it he plugged his diagnostic unit in and managed to turn the lights off long enough to do the test. However the Diag unit reported an intermittent fault on the lefthand rear sensor - I am assuming by left-hand it means offside rear.
So - the question is - how hard is it to replace these sensors? Looking through the web there seems to be various horror stories attached to extracting the old ones then getting the new into the right position.
Other than this the eadvisories were hot spots on the front disks - so new disks are required and uneven wear on the front tyres so steering alignment needs looking aat. I need to get this sensor sorted first though.
