Hello, everyone.
I am the besotted owner of a 1994 Classic 300Tdi soft dash.
I bought her in 1996 when she had done 30k miles, and she now has 222k on the clock! She has been super-reliable, and I love her to bits.
The old girl is now showing her age a bit (all the usual faults), but is still remarkably sound, so I have decided to restore her to her former glory.
I am totally useless at doing stuff (other than the basics) myself, but I have a fantatic local garage (a real old-fashioned motor engineer) which does a lot of classic restoration. So, they are doing most of the work, with me doing the "project management"!
I have joined the forum for advice to help me through what I expect to be a "challenging" exercise, so I will be shamelessly picking everyone's brains!
