I am up to some greenlaning, I've got a 07 110 with mud tyres and not much else so would have to be something for the novice. I am not sure where to got myself I live near derby.

Get an OS map and have a look or chat to Muddy Gonzo when he get's back from the Peaks recce this weekend. Loads of lanes in your area.

Peak District is scattered with them, was out this weekend, as were a group from here - see the Green Laning Section.

Would advise finding a few friends / join a local club though - unless you have a winch or two, anchors and a few friends, laning on your own is a bit un-wise.

(especially round the peaks, at this time of year you're more likely to break something than get stuck - if you don't have a friend to tow you to the road your a bit screwed)
