I use this stuff on my props:
400g EP2 MULTIPURPOSE GREASE LUBRICANT | eBay
... and this stuff on my wheel bearings:
Comma Multipurpose Lithium Grease 3kg for Chassis Wheel Bearings Joints GR23KG | eBay
As for grease gun, depends on how much you want to spend. Personally, I'd say a cordless, battery jobbie is the way forward.

its often worth fitting longer nipples to ujs if grease gun end is a tight fit 6mm is common

Hi i just got some of this from here http://www.team-zx1.com/Super-Grease.I use ZX1 in my TD5 it made a difference in the engine its a ongoing project gearbox etc next
