Incidentally the sound track on the video is a mixture of the camera mount vibrating against the inclinometer and the Australian open tennis commentary :D

... and this is the trip through the wood etc.

Thanks for a top day guys, FK is right though ... maybe July next for this site ;)

As entertaining as it was, I dare say more driving and less recovery would result from a more seasonal visit.

Lets face it, it took us damn near 2 hours to clear that last section.

At least nobody went home with a full flask :D

Right, both videos have now uploaded (above) ... pretty pleased with this little camera which fits into a mobile phone holder on the windscreen :)

What was that with the coppers at the end of the day?

Apparently when Andy (abarclay1800) left site he came across a Defender with trailer that had slid off the road. He stopped and there was a ten yr old lad and a dog walker there. The 10 yr olds parents were having a blazing row away from the vehicle and the mother had stormed off. The father went to find her and the lad decided to drive off in the Defender!
Apparently the lad and his family knew Charlie from the farm so Andy took the lad and the dog walker back to the farm having called the police.
That was about it really but I'm sure Andy may be able to tell us more

Bloody hell there's about as much chance of me finding this place as becoming Goldilocks best friend :D

If any one is passing Rugby to get there in the morning and doesn't mind a bit of a detour - you can have a cake to take with you :)

Aw Shirley you could have come too??

Rugby was a bit outta the way for us :(

Maybe in the summer, looking at the video and photos it looked a bit hard core for me just yet

On the plus side my kids got to eat the spare cake and very appreciative they were to :D

Actually in the summer it will be more hardcore, that clay will set like concrete and be about as forgiving except for the bomb holes which will still be as deep but at least recovery will be easier  :D :D :D

But at least there are plenty of bits for noobs to try their wings and or folk with standard vehicles too ;)
