I've just had some grabber at2's fitted. 215/65R16 are easy to get hold of. If you buy them from a tyre fitter, they'll need to order them in and they won't stock local, or at the ware house.

Will have to go to my locals and get some prices then.
Iv been looking online at black circles.com they only do the 70R16's. I could probably get away with the 70's.
on that calculator you sent, it showed a 3% increase where they reccommend a maximum of 2.5% increase only.
So will have to hunt around.

I have the AT2's in 215/70/R16 fitted to mine too! Fit no problems and as Freebiker said they will give you a little bit more clearance

I also actually ordered mine from Blackcircles.com too. Had them fitted at one of the partnered garages.
In the dry they're ok, in the wet though you have to be a little careful.
Small roundabouts in the wet need to be taken with car else you'll just keep going forward.
To be honest, i drive my girl like she's an F1 car and the tyres do me well. Not lost traction once. Perfect tyres for the snow as well.

I haven't had any problems with mine in the dry or the wet! Grand off-road too!
Saying that I don't drive like an eejit when the roads are wet and greasy!

They dont sound too bad
I never drive quick or sharply anyway, being a motorcyclist, you really do learn how slipperythe roads get at times.
Anyway there not really the type of cars to chucked about, saying that iv just ordered a synergy kit, i cant wait to see what difference it will make to the old girl. from what i have heard there great
Anyway will let you know what i think when i get the new shoes fitted. then i can really get her muddy
Anyone know of any decent greenanes in hertfordshire ? Iv never been proper off roading yet, i would still like to give it a go, just need some other freebie owners to go with

The freeby is the perfect 4X4 to 'chuck about' It's great fun, handles very well and takes everything you could possibly throw at it in it's stride. Of course you've got to know the limits, but thats the same with every car.
