From a fellow landy driver (sorry, didn't see what type, I think it was yellowish/beige, but my window screen was a tad iced up!) who passed me a tad quicker! Made my night, thanks

Wrong side? It's the only side! Never made it in to the middle, let alone the overtaking lane!!!
I've settled in nicely to driving the old girl, it's a more sedate, happy go lucky attitude.
And is it a design fault that only the passenger side of the screen hots up?

He fitted a screen heater but it's that drafty the candle keeps blowing out.

it is a bit of a crap design, might be worth seeing if the hose on the drivers side is properly attached, when people fiddle with the wiring behind the instrument panel the hose can get pulled off the vent.

I improved mine by running a hose from the hot air inlet behind the dash passenger side to the drivers side screen vent

making sure the channel the air goes through is nicely sealed so the air only exits where it is supposed to also helps

Get a plastic milk bottle cap and drill a 10mm hole in it and fit to passenger side vent tube helps to push more to drivers side.
