Up on the Mennock ye say? Wouldn't happen tae be a wee portly type chappie that's just not long since became the wildlife ociffer that has an auld series he was/ is tryin' tae get rid off would it?;) :D

Agreed on the Avon stuff being great for the bloody midges, especially in Ae Forest during rallies, particularly vicious strain of the wee bastards doon there:eek:

Aye:D it's alright as long as ye don't sweat too much cos it washes it off! Just got tae make sure ye carry the bottle tae put more on;) :D

HAHAHAHAA! Nah, was up there pickin' up a back door for me other bus. Ah didnae stay too long, just had a quick coffee and buggered off back home again;) :D It's a good road tae go up now and again, beats the motorway and if ah've got a bit more time on me hands, ah'll go via Capercluech tae Tweedsmuir (even better road):D :D
 
Excellent road that, especially down the other side from Megget towards Tweedsmuir, just watch out for logging motors!

Also like the road down past Samye Lingh(?) Tibetan monestary and then into the top end of Castle O'er and Twiglees.
