going back to when I purchased my freelander, I decided to keep the vitara, just in case, well as the freebie has calliper trouble, and the weather see's me not wanting to be out there in it, I just started a multicar policy on both, off for an m.o.t tomorrow, then 6 months tax on friday, and we can get back over the woodland to check our trees

I have owned several different Land Rovers over the years. Always best to have a backup car.

Currently I have a Mazda as backup to the Freelander. It was useful when the Freelander disgraced herself last time with a snapped belt....

I have a Mini as a standby, but she rarely ventures out of the garage.

Should the Landy fail and it be raining, I'll steal my girlfriends Polo and, with out remorse, send her to work on the bus!

I have a 53 plate Suzuki alto as a back up. It's terrible to drive and really boring, but it's bomb proof and dirt cheap to run.
Always have a backup if you own a landrover.
