Check the diaphragm under the seat base, if that's gone, then you will be sitting too low, it's a very common fault with the Disco 300. Getting a new diaphragm is impossible though, I fitted a set of seats out of the RR classic. The rear ones are a straight swap, but you'll need to make up a framework for the front ones. With the RRC seats in, you are a little higher, you can also adjust were you drill the holes for the runners.
