Hi can anyone give me step by step instructions of how to get my discovery 200tdi in and out of 4wh,4wl and back into 2wh as i am having trouble gettin my disco in and out of 4wd i am new to my discovery and was not shown by the previous owner may sound stupid but it doent seem as simple as my last 4x4 which was clearly stated on the gear knob as 4wh,4wl and 2wh but the disco jut says diff lock High Nuetral Low and am unsure how to engage and disengage 4wd.Any help appreciated.

S'permanent 4wd so you wunt be able to git it into 2wd!

Disco is 'full time' 4x4 you cant have 2wd.

4wd always on, diff lock locks the diff between the front axle and the rear not the axles themselves and low ratio is available in either diff locked or not (and diff lock is available in either high or low ratio).

Normal driving = diff not locked and normal (low) ratio - but you still have 4x4

Ok cheers feel like a right **** now didnt know that so what are the diff and lock for on the gear knob.
