afternoon chaps

after some hunting i managed to find a pair of genuine LR roof bars for me p38. my question is........are they easy to remove/refit?

i managed to talk a guy who is selling his RR to sell me the bars :D but i have to remove them? any ideas? are they just bolted at the front and back or in the middle aswell? i will probably work it out when i go there but dont want to turn up and be totally clueless and start ripping into his rangie :boom:

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi they are bolted in the middle as well, all i use to put them on/off is an allen key, sorry i forgot the size of the allen key.

Perfecto! Take it you unclip a cover to reveal bolts? Or are they already exposed? Thanks for the info

Small screwdriver to flip off the wee rubbers there cover the screws.

You need a 4 mm allen key with a hole in middle, the security type otherwise you may find it hard to get them off, unless the owner has fitted other than original screws.

When I get round to finding or making the right key mine will be back on:) Might change the screws instead...
