ive just bought a geniune 200tdi rangerover classic with full service history and only 135,000 miles on a l reg the question is its quite solid should i bobtail it or leave it alone?

If the cross member is sound, leave it as is...

If your gonna trial it, or serious offroad, consider it....but if not, don't bother.

thanx pal its rear cross member is a1 the door shuts are mint the only welding it has had is on the end of the sills but this was minimul

leave it alone you heathen. Bobtailing is for knackers going serious off roading, not for classic rangerovers.

Be a shame to wreck possibly the best RR ever built.I have a very rusty one with 232,000m on it you can have to bobtail if you want,I'll have yours.
(My wife would be chuffed - it was her favourite ever car)

dont you think people have decided???

if no rot leave it be...

Leave it alone you halfwit , buy a ****ter to bobtail , sell it on at aprofit to some one who will understand that 200 , or any classic rangy is becoming a rare thing .
