luckily i was only pulling away, but when i pulled up 500 yards later my luvley car deposited a puddle of oil over the kerb and sprayed the inside of the engine bay.

AA man says it looks like one of the gearbox oil cooling hoses that has gone and the gear box should be fine (auto - happy days).

So, does anyone know if this is the likely cause?

and also - if its easy to do?

and also - if not, doesn anyone know a good mobile landy mechanic in the east midlands? (i'm in Kent - it decided to do the business on the way to Leeds)

any advice would be really welcome.

Thx

Rob

Drain oil (oops!) union nut at either end, bracket to hold pipes to engine. undo all, refit, do all up. simples! oh yes.... refill with oil.
