Have just been out to check and top up the oils in the transfer and main gearbox and I have found that the previous owner has knackered the main gearbox filler plug. Can't get anything to fit in it so it is not shifting. I have a couple of options and thought I would get some opinions.
1. If I take out the transmission tunnel then could the box be filled from the top somewhere.
2. Take it to local independent and ask them to have a go
3. Last resort.... Drop the box out of the car and have another go at it.

Any suggestions welcome!!!

take the tunnel out ,hammering plug and t55 socket type in will usually get it or using good hammer cold chisel knock it round to loosen it ,last resort weld nut to it

its shouldn't be mega tight............. but yep from above may be possible..... its hard to get in there at the best of times
