lost drive replaced filter and auto transmission fluid done 400 mile no prob today lost drive again and dip stick blew out does this sound like filter blocked again ???
The dipstick blowing out sounds like the gearbox breather is blocked. Filter may have block again. Think you may have slightly larger problem though. What colour is new fluid now?

fluid browny red colour gunna replace filter and fluid again and do as u said check breather does this sound the way to start ??

did put dexron 2 in ist it suppose to be dexron 3
Sounds like you have serious contamination if the oil has gone browny so soon. Contamination is particles from clutch plates. If it is that bad you have a bigger problem in there somewhere. They will be choking the valve block causing it to stick. Dextron IID is fine. Only thing you can do is change filter again and fill with fresh oil and hope that does the job. But change the oil again in a couple of weeks. If it works after the filter change that is. You may have left the first filter and oil change just too long and done some real damage.

is there anyway ov gettin the fluid out of torque convertor and cooler while i got the sump off ???

not the torque convertor but yes with the cooler, I have the kit- its called Koolerclean or summit and its like a big can with a hose that provides solvent and pressure at a different time. its specifically for the job and it was hard to find.
I am happy to sell it to you if you cant find it anywhere as I am moving back to manauls with the next range rover and have had my box rebuilt with this one already.
