Hi has anyone fitted a r380 to a defender tdci. We am trying to fit one to a td5 conversion we thought of using a discovery r380 with a transfer box off a defender we am thinking this would get the gear levers next to each other as in a tdci.

no it wont ,gear box top and mechanism is different for tdci ,which ever t/box doesnt matter you would have to use cable system and fabricate something to hold hi/lo lever
