:DHi guys hope alls not to bad in the Range Rover world? I have recently come a cropper with a handful of problems with my beloved P38 4.6 V8 auto. The last and most taxing problem is that my gear selector kept flashing and select neutral on the display and it was stuck in lie ratio. I have now replaced the motor at the back of the transfer box and now the selectors have stopped flashing with no select N on the display. However it does drive but still feel like it's in low and the transfer box is making a really bad grinding noise. I Haven't got to foggiest what it could be as in new to the beauties but do know some basics. Before I do go changing the while transfer box (which by the way can someone tell me if this is a hard or easy job) I'd like to find out if this is a problem someone has had before and if so was there a fix to it other than changing the whole transfer box? Many thank in advance guys. All replies welcome.:D

Changing the t/box is not a bad job, car need's to be on four ramps or sturdy axle stands to give you access. Biggest problem is balancing the box on a large trolley jack if you are on your own (like I was).:)
