Greetings from the Deep South, Invercargill to be precise. Just bought a 65 series 2 which has a ld28 conversion. The vehicle still in shaky Christchurch but will put up a couple pics and will certainly be hoping to get some good advice from all you landy owners.
Just wanted to say Hi and Introduce myself.
Dave's the name. Ex African Soldier without a war and moved to NZ nine years ago. Loving it and great place to explore in my new landy.

Welcome to LZ, I bet you noticed the climate change from hot summers to cold snowy winters when you moved. Most members here would have stuck to a Land Rover engine swap but I understand the availability of the jap engines over there. I've visited the North Island maybe one day l'll return and see the South Island.

Anyway welcome again.

Thanks for the welcome mate. Sure is a different climate to what I'm used to but hey, if I stayed indoors when it rained I wouldn't get much. Would prefer an original motor myself but this transplant was in when I bought the old girl. South Island is definitely where to visit. I've not been back up North in seven years eh. Again. Thanks for the welcome
