Following on from my Scratchydom fred.

I am redesigning the wiring for Scratchy, but as it is a fair distance away from me, am having a few probs.

here is a pic of the offending article..

and one of the proposed item....

But I am having difficulty finding the wiring diagram for the 12 Fuse Defender system? anyone got summat they can post here or send?

Haynes manual wiring diagrams : 1 or 2 or 3 will help you out

as i dont have a Haynes for a D90, that wont help.

On this pic

Can anyone tell me which fuse is which, and what the values are?

You might be able to correlate the wiring diagram to the fuse box as each feed wire is a different colour/tracer - for fuse ratings you could use common ratings for common uses ie: cig lighter 10Amp etc......

No good, this will have the headlights switched via relays (See FAQ mod) with various other options build in .

I know I am being obtuse here, but in this pic,

is the top left for front fogs & the bottom left for rear fogs?
Is the wiper/ washer icon for rear or front, coz it loks like rear? If so, it doesnt seem to match the wiring diagram.

Also Wangie is that petrol or doozil, and what age? coz they seem to swap about

Thats what it looks like to me - front wiper
The small sticker could indicate the rear wiper and rear heated window

I think small sticker is heated rear screen and rear wash wipe.

MHM mines a F reg 2.5na doozel originaly, must admit though when I replaced the fuse box to blades not a lot seamed to match up, which I thought was because of the bodges the previous owner had done

looking at Rave, the 2.25 petrol, 2.25 doozil, 2.5 doozil & V8 are all subtely different .

When I changed the fuse box I switched everything on then removed each fuse to see what stopped working not the best way but worked.

Yes, it's front fog lights.

The fuse that protects the clock, cigarette lighter and horn circuits, also protects an auxiliary power pickup (bullet connector) that's intended for front fog lamps - Ref. 70 on the diagram below.

Here's the 1986 onwards, composite Diagram and Key, which was used until some point during the 200Tdi builds -

The extra little diagram stuck onto the fuse box cover is for the optional heated rear window and rear wash/wipe, the fuses for which, are housed in a satellite fuse box - PRC3737
