Wot is the small fuse holder next to the fuse box in engine bay I haven't got a fuel heater and they have all just melted to nothing and I stick of burnt plastic now so does car lol

Yes it's an electrical booster heater for the cabin. It's designed to supplement the water heater when it's cold outside. Sometimes they come on when not needed (normally a stuck relay), and overheat the dedicated fuse box.
