Hi All,

This is my first post so please be gentle :fighting:

Just bought a 2000 Defender TD5 110, which I am loving. But I have found that it is a real pig to get the fuse box cover off and near impossible to get it back on with the air conditioning unit fitted. I am of course referring to the fuse box that sits in front of the gear stick. Is there any replacement third party covers, for the fuse box, that fit better when the air conditioning unit is fitted?

Thats exactly what I did. It never worked very well and took up loads of leg space. Flogged the bits on ebay to a bloke in Kenya. Never missed it!

I must admit AC is not something I would have added normally, but it came with the vehicle, so not complaining. I am not a big fan of AC units and this one does not seem to work great, so may very well do this. Thank you

You will be looking at over £500 for all the bits and bobs if you take them off carefully and flog on fleabay.
