hi everyone i have been searching the threads for my answer but no joy as yet.

Bassically i get a funny rumble from my gearbox area when de-accelerating. Not always but quite often but as soon as you accelerate or even just rest your foot on the throttle it will go. Also sometimes when i pull up it feels like it wants to push on sometimes, whether in gear or not or clutch in or out it doesnt matter. This happens not very often and hasnt happened for a few weeks but it is concerning when it does but if i park up for a while and go back out it will aometimes not do it again

this has me totally stumped it still drives great (as great as it can) any advice would be good. and obviously i have thought maybe the gearbox is on it way out which means ill drive it till it breaks lol

Don't know if this helps but I had similar noise without the pushing on bit on my disco, found the problem was a seized uj on the rear prop.

i got a new front prop n ujs and the rear i just greased the rears. I oredered up some oil today as someone said it may help so ill give that ago. but like it said apart from the pushing on it drives well gears free nice and free and never any problems selecting

Sometimes get a bit of a judder myself when coming to a halt.
Think I read somewhere that it could be the handbrake.
Or maybe uj's

handbrake? why didnt i think of that i been having major issues with mine lately and its been getting on me nerves maybe a strip down one evening is needed i got a sh*tpart actuator kicking about somewhere i could sling on a see if it works
