Bit of an odd one but im going to do the dreaded boot floor and some other welding next week so have been stripping the interior and body parts.

While doing it today I noticed that the fuel tank strap at the rear end of the tank is almost nonexistant

So a few questons on this problem then !

Where is best to get a new one ?
How hard is it to fit ?
How many straps are there ?

U don't say what model but for a D1:
Just Google NTC 5789 and take your pick of suppliers.
Easy only 4 bolts.
One and it's called a Cradle

The part number is as shown in the disco parts book but i see it's is out of date so look at this link for a cradle Famous Four - Search Results - '300' Series Discovery (1995-98 Models)

Nice spot

lokks totally different to what I saw a glimpse of today but will have a proper look tomorrow as it may be 90% missing
