Underneath it doing the height sensors and noticed that the fuel tank bracket is badly corroded to the point where a big bump with a full tank would snap it.
Anyone replaced theirs and know how much they are and how difficult it is to replace?

Easy to replace,run the tank as low as you dare,only four bolts hold it in place.cannot help on the price check the bay.
 
OK cheers. Just had a quick look on the bay and doesn't seem to be anything.
I'll try emmots.
Might have to be a repair job!
 
Or get in touch with doo on here he got one made for him ,but dont know how much he paid....:)
 
Ye doo could not find one ,so he got one made for him ,wazzajnr might have to doo the same.doo the sane see what i did there :rolleyes:
 
I measured my (new...) tank and went to the local metal bloke (Caledonian Sheet Metal...it was quite good actually...:D) and he cut it, bent it into the shapes I requested and all for 40 quid ;)

Cheers @Doo I think I will be doing the same. On closer inspection, it's not going to break immediately but does need doing sooner rather than later. I'm just waiting until I find a new unit for the business then I can get it inside on the flat before I climb under it again!
 
ESR3190 is available in the USA at a reasonable price but how much it will cost to ship it is another matter.

We ship a lot of stuff back and forth to the USA so I might be able to put one in a box with something else.
Cheers for that @wammers I'll have a look for one and see if it makes sense.
 
Cheers for that. I think I'll look at the new ones from the states and if not, I'll get one made. I suspect the one on ebay might be not much better than mine.
