Guys i noticed this morning on my 2 1/4 90 that when ignition is first switched on the fuel pump primes by ticking and you can hear fuel trickling in the tank area this will continue to happen if as long as i sit with ignition on.. is the right?

more detail needed ... is it doozil or petrol ??? and are you sure its 21/4 and not 2.5
 
if its 2 1/4 it must be an early one .... check you aint got a leek first before you do owt else ...
can ya post a piccie ?? cos i'm confused ...
