Hi all another outing today in my 2a another issue. Truck has many leaks but there was very large puddle of diesel underneath old girl after our journey. After a clean of engine so I can see where it’s coming from the fuel pump. When reving it seems to spray from just under hand level for pump. Is this a common fault. Would this be a simple replacement pump if so would anyone recommend any specific company to use as I have seen multiple people complain about cheap parts. Scott

Never had to touch mine but I believe you can get parts for them to overhaul yourself. I’m not convinced this is a great idea as they aren’t an expensive item but I’m sure some of us have chucked a new one in.

I’ll probably get one been looking like you said there not expensive really I did look to see if you can recondition them but don’t think it’s worth it considering price of new like you said

A replacement fuel pump and cheap fuel lines cost diddly (£30). Don't angst about that's worn out just replace.
