Burnt the wiring somewhere between tank and gauge is it possible to rewire,any help appreciated,1990,v8,110,thanks

Yep
Can run new wire along chassis from the sender, either all the way to the gauge or just to where you know the wiring is OK
PS - you might want to quickly click on the 'introduce yourself' forum - some might give you grief if not
