A quicky, new pump fitted last week, was on quarter tank but started to run a little noisily and geuge went up slightly, so thought low on fuel?

Anyway over £100 later.

Have I fitted the pump wrong, or did it need some form of recalibration

Are you sure they didnt send you a Defender pump by mistake cos those have different setup at the sender...happened to a friend of mine, can you read the p/n on the pump?(not on it's box)... is it some unbranded cheap one?

Importat is what's on the pump not on the receipt
