P para7 New Member Jan 18, 2014 #1 Servicing the Disco today and got round to replacing the fuel filter and noticed that the pin that connects into the bottom of the filter had been disconnected and tied up with some tape.Anyone know why this would have been done?..

jamesmartin Well-Known Member Jan 18, 2014 #2 presumably disco 2 ,wire goes to water sensor its not vital .plug or sensor are probably damaged
kes86 Active Member Jan 18, 2014 #4 I think it's a common fault, my td5 disco fuel water light kept flickering. Local Landry specialist told me to unplug it as they play up.
