hello to all again

started my 200tdi conversion last weekend and all is going pretty
well, thanks to various guides on this forum.

engine is in and on its mounts
radiator brackets have been cut down, so rad fits lovely now.

but now im slightly stuck on the fuel filter set up and would very much like some help please and pics if there are some.

i understand that i use the disco filter but how do i go about connecting it. it seems to have alot less connections on top.

help and pics would be fantastic please
also links to threads

also some advice on the wiring loom please

thanks in advance
tony

The filter goes on the bulkhead as you can see here. Mine is a metal pipe but I've seen a lot that are rubber hoses. Just remember that on that picture the airbox is in the wrong place.

thanks for the pic mate

but the one that came off the disco i have, looks different to what you have pictured.
is that a defender filter?

the disco filter has only 2 outlets but the defender filter has 4 outlets.
im pretty sure i need to use the disco one but im not entirly sure how to connnect it up.

i prefer to use filter fromk 200tdi disco or def ,feed goes to lift pump from tank ,from lift pump to inlet of filter ,from outlet on filter to front of injection pump leak offs go to rear of injection pump ,rear of injection pump to tank (return) do away with any sedimentors and use as few joints as possible on feed side as fuel has to be sucked from tank to lift pump,
