Jimmy, if its the same yellow light that came on in my 2001 es td5 its a bit of **** to sort. I too got worried thinking that its going to cost me bundles to get it sorted but was advised by some fellas on here and its dead simple.
Look under the rear o/s wheel arch just to the rear but above the tyre. You will see a sort of cannister looking thing. Get yourself a container like a plastic milk bottle with the top cut off. Disconnect the electrical socket from the bottom of the filter/cannister and where that was connected simply unscrew the whole connector. After a few turns you will start getting water coming out, this is the excess water in the filter that the light was on about. Once the flow stops, simply tighten up, reconnect the lectrickery and away you go. If I remember rightly, you can either undo partially or take the thing right off, I think I've done it both ways. Sorry if its not too clear but I hope it helps. Ta, Paul
