Found a cheap supplier of replacement wiper motors but will try to repair it first.

hi when you have sorted your wiper motor out and come to put the wiper arm and blades back on if you look carefully in the middel and at the passager side at the bottom is a cross you are supposed to line up the wiper blade with them before pushing down on the wiper arm to engage it before putting the nut on this supposed to stop the blades from hiting the sides and bottom hope this helps
