hi guys, well finally got down to bells yesterday for my recon vcu, great service up there, i got seriously lost driving up from London lol, well on the way home the weather got alittle nasty an didn't stop raining so obv i turned the wipers on but afew hours later when i went to turn them back on i got nothing... They have completely stopped working.. Any ideas guys
 
have you looked at the fuse if that is ok test the motor its self but when doing that be care full of your fingers ! if it is working, but still not work of the switch then it could be the switch or relay hope this helps
 
turned out to be a 20 amp fuse, so i changed it but all i had was 25,s an literally a minute after changing an giving a test it blew again..
 
Have you checked the wiring to make sure there's no shorting. Does fuse blow straight away when you put it in or when you turn wipers on?
 
Just read your post again. It's possibly the wiper motor that's faulty. Is the wiper mechanism free or jammed?
 
Ahhhh crap , allways something hey mate, ill have to get looking on ebay, cheers mate, are they easy to change?
 
Don't get a britpart one, mine went and I got one but my wipers don't park on the screen correctly even though I've done everything to set them up properly.
