Hi everyone, my first post since buying a 2006 Freestyle TD4, and have to say I love it, my first LR !!
Quick question which I hope someone can help with - the front component speakers are knackered and I will be replacing them with a couple of budget 2 way speakers, can I just disconnect the std tweeters or will they be ok left wired in ? Thanks for your help, a great forum that's already given me 101 ideas about how to improve my car !!!

when i upgraded my speakers i just disconnected the standard tweeters. all worked great !

don't think they had any crossovers on the standard speaker system
