Have fitted a winch as i said before and was given a list of colour codes for the front springs to lift it back up, but having gone online to buy some the problem is nobody states the difference between disco 1 and disco 2, are disco 1 and 2 the same spring? thanks in advance.

No they are not, Disco 1 front springs are "flat" across the bottom seat, D2 springs are "keyed" with the lower coil into a shaped spring seat.

On my Disco 2 I have Bearmach blues, BA2103 and BA 2104 . They are OK, the car is lifted with 2-3 inches and the front is a little upper than the rear(even now,after one year).
Can be a good idea if you have a winch or heavy front bumper. On the Bearmach leaflet, they are rated as Def.90, Disco,Disco2.

thanks for the replies, have been looking at bearmach and britpart, but not everybody rates britpart, and will do a search Ben, again thanks.

Have just ordered BA2103 and BA2104, at least its an upgrade and not a breakdown today
