So i have a 1986 2.5 petrol 90 and was wondering if i could replace the front exhaust box with a straight through pipe?ive seen them for the diesel variants but not for the petrol,any one else done this and if so what part did you use ,,,

Buy the one for the derv, cut your silencer and rear fitting off, cut the same off the new one and weld together the front of yours and rear of the new one.

Why do you want to do this, it maybe toooooo noisey?

my 4.2v8 bobtail rr had a straight thru eggsauce no silencers atall,i didnt think it was too noisy

I will eat my words, as my 110 V8 has a bean tin as its one and only silencer and its sounds ace!:smokin:
