Hi all,
I am trying to replace my VCU this weekend with not much more than two lollipop sticks and a roll of sellotape! Well, that's how it's feeling at the moment after a good workout trying to get the housing off.
Any way, it's off but can anyone tell me how to extract the front output shaft oil seal. On RAVE it says to use a flat bladed screwdriver to extract it then the remaining parts should be accessable from there. Any ideas?? Is it reusable or do I need to replace this?
I also find that I cannot extract the old VCU from the housingbut notice that there is a circlip on the exploded diagram in RAVE. Does that hold it in till it is removed? Other than that bearing etc etc seems in good nick.:scratching_chin:
