The 110 came with a tubular steering guard attached, the struts from it utilise the chassis holes where the Jate rings would have bolted through.
What are the alternatives for front end recovery? Assume the steering guard is a no no? (stupid question!)
Is it worth keeping the steering guard on, it doesnt look that substantial! Could put the Jates on then.
What about the back end, same situation with tow ball carrier, struts use holes where the Jates would go. Obviously can use the tow ball but recovery rope has the potential to ride over the ball.
Obviously seen the recovery swivel eyes, although i dont know how they are fixed and whether the bumber/rear cross member would need reinforcing.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
