Hi all,
could any one please advise me if it is easy/hard to change front crankshaft oil seal on a 4,6 thor engine. i have a pesky drip from the seal which is begining to annoy the wife cos of the stains dotted around the drive. I know that landrovers mark there teratory but can not make the wife under stand that.

Hi, i thought my crankshaft oil seal was leaking when i first got mine, so i replaced it, not an easy job(in my opinion), pain trying to retorque crank pulley!!(Without the engine turning) only to start the engine and watch a drip forming just under the seal! turned out the oil pressure switch was leaking!! a lot easier to change!! Give the front of the engine a really good clean just to be sure!!

Hope its not the seal!
