Just a quick one for someone who knows about this...

Managed to rip the lower part of my front left bumper off, the capping around the fog light is fine but the lower section and bits behind have been pulled off.

Is that lower bit part of the whole bumper or can i replace just the left side of it?

On a td5 it's all part of the bumper

I did something similar...

So I cropped the bottom corner off

Ran it like that for about a year (passes MoT no problem if all sharp edges are cut off).

Just another option for you

Hi Guys,

Thank you for your help, sorry for the really late reply. havnt been online in a while.

@ArticFox luckily mine wasnt as bad as yours, managed to cable tie it back together and to be honest you dont really notice it now which is lucky.

Is it something that can be plastic welded from behind?

Look up "motorbike fairing repairs".

M&P used to do a little kit that you could stick bits back together with, but it took ages.

Well, im missing a bit that joins the bottom of the bumper to the inside of the wheel arch, when it first happend and whilst moving at speed it got blown back onto the wheel but have tied it foward to stop it doing so.

isnt the strongest fix but has seemed to work for now. ill post some pics tomorrow when its light outside. cant really notice it now i have put it all back together.
