Hi Just bought my first landy a defender 90 on a H plate 1991, I decided to give it a service including new discs and pads along with front hub bearings. After pulling it apart I found the pads I have are to big, the one's in the landy are slightly shorter in length.
Can any body shed some light on this and what pads do I require, the make I ordered was Mintex.

sounds like you have 110 and not 90 pads ,try stc3765 if pads are retained by solid pins

So the 110 pads are bigger than a 90's. They are held in place with solid pins.

they are pre 300tdi when the 90 pads become the same as 110, 90 pads pre 300tdi are the same as disco or rrc

You can fit 110 calipers and upgrade your brakes.
